Esta es una clase combinada de dibujo y biología marina en la que guiaré a mis alumnos a través de instrucciones paso a paso sobre cómo dibujar diferentes animales marinos. ¡También hablaremos de datos y curiosidades científicas sobre cada animal marino que dibujemos!

We are back with four brand new marine animal drawings in the second edition of this class. Just like my original Marine Animals science and drawing class, as students get to create each drawing, they will be also learning cool scientific facts about the animals and the ocean as well. Science and Art have always been my favorite subjects in school and in these subject combo classes I found that my art students enjoy learning about science while drawing, and my science students have a fun time learning while getting to draw to help them focus. On the art side of class, students benefit from learning a wide range of drawing styles. It will help them find the art style that they enjoy the most while also allowing for students to learn different techniques. Students will get to attempt realistic drawing techniques as well as kawaii art styles, and cartoony animated styles of drawing.

It’s my hope that after each class my students will gain more confidence in their drawing abilities as well as, self expression, creative thinking, and basic color theory. By the end of class each student will also walk away with tons of information about the ocean and 4 different creatures that live in it!

I attended the University of Oklahoma and studied Zoology. I have made it a life long goal to strive to learn as much as I can about the Earth, its animals and habitats. I think animal science is important and it is a personal passion. Though I have dedicated many years of study to Zoology, i never turned my love of science and animals into a career. Instead I decided that my second love, art, would be my topic of choice to teach. I have taken many online, and in-classroom drawing, painting, and art theory classes. I have 7 younger siblings, and also have a lot of nanny experience. The kids I care for, my siblings included, have all enjoyed, and benefited from my knowledge of drawing, painting, and art. Having been around children my entire life, I have the patience and positive demeanor necessary to teach young students to draw step by step with a smile. It is a good way for kids to hone in on their artistic and creative potential, while defining their individual aesthetic. This class allows for the combination of both science and art and is my absolute favorite style class to teach!Reseñas
