The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the SR-71 spy plane, the engineering feats, science related material, and how the plane and crew accomplished the mission. The focus will be on both scientific and historic facts about this amazing plane. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information about the course. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.

The student will learn about the SR-71 aircraft, the reconnaissance mission, military history, and how it was a vital part of the Cold War history.
