In this social club class, we will play Splatoon 3 together. The goal of this class is for learners to socially interact with other learners as they play the game each week. All skill levels are welcome, but for maximum enjoyment, learners should have basic knowledge of the game. #builder

RULES: 
-In order to join our private lobby, learners will need to share their friend code with me so I can add them to my friend list on the switch. This must be done privately. Learners can either send me a message on Outschool or send me a private message on zoom during class with the tag name. Any publically shared friend code messages will be deleted. 
-Learners are expected to show good sportsmanship. Everyone is expected to have a good attitude. 
-Please also keep all conversations family-friendly.
-We will start playing around 5 minutes after the class has started. If you are late, you may have to wait until the current game we are playing ends. 

How to join our private lobby
-Ensure that we are on each other's switch friends list (We will share friend codes privately.)
-Ensure that your switch display activity is set to "All Users" or "Friends"
-In Splatoon 3 enter the lobby
-Press L to open the lobby menu
-Choose private battle
-Select the teacher from your friend list
-Enter the password which I will provide via the zoom chatbox

VERY IMPORTANT: Please note that learners will not be able to participate in class if they don't have the following. 
-A Nintendo Online Subscription
-A Nintendo Switch
-A copy of Splatoon 3

You may want to keep the charger nearby or make sure your device is fully charged before class.
Before class, please make sure your device and game are ready to go.

The session topics will be learner-directed each week as learners will choose what game modes we play and what we talk about as we play.
