I will send out the spelling words one week ahead of time for those that wish to study before class. There will also be worksheets you can print for extra practice after class.Experiencia de clase
Nivel de inglés - A1
Grado de EE. UU. 1 - 3
This is an ongoing class. You may enroll at any point. I keep class sizes small, no more than 4 kids per class. This means your child will have more opportunities to participate. This class will run even if only 1 student is enrolled. The first 10 minutes of class I will introduce 10 spelling words. These will be posted in the classroom a week in advance for students who would like to study ahead of time. (I also include additional worksheets you can print for extra practice after class). We will then play a game for 15 minutes. I will ask the students to write down each spelling word as we find them. They can use a piece of paper/pencil, a whiteboard/marker, or type the words in the chat-box. I always set the chat-box set so that I am the only one that sees what they type. The last 5 minutes of class I will go over 2-3 worksheets the students can do at home for extra practice. These are optional and I do not ask for them to be returned when finished. Please make sure your child has a piece of paper and their favorite writing tool (pencil/pen/colored pencils/markers) for each class. Whiteboards/dry erase markers are also a great choice. I will ask the students to write down each of the words we are practicing.

Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Arizona Certificado de Docencia en Educación elemental
Licenciatura en Educación desde Arizona State University
Hello! My name is Julie and I live in Arizona. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 2005. I also have a current teaching certificate in the state of Arizona. For the past 3 years I have taught English as a second language.
I love teaching on Outschool. I create and tweak my lessons until they become the kind of classes I would have liked to take as a kid. Currently I teach math and spelling classes. I keep my age ranges within 3 years, and class sizes no higher than 4 students. I feel it’s important to keep class sizes small so each learner receives more opportunities to participate.
Please feel free to message me with any questions. I usually respond the same day.
