In this class you will learn to identify your letters and their sounds. We will focus on phonics, memorizing sight words and blending sounds. Our class will include singing, dancing, we use video lessons and letter and sound reciting. We also practice writing our letters and site words eventually moving on to NEW vocabulary words. The children will have an opportunity to play games on review days.

I will only take 8 and 9 year olds that are delayed or have an IEP. This class is too easy for anyone above Second grade.

It is important that your learner has the materials needed for class and also has the motor skills to write letters. It is also very important that parents review and reinforce letter sound and recognition. The studentswill be successful if they read, write and say their letters.

Please print out worksheets weekly. Another option is also to purchase manuscript paper. Children may use crayons or pencils Instead of printing out the worksheet you cab also purchase an ABC workbook from the Dollar Tree that has space for tracing and pictures to color. Thank you
