In this ongoing class, we will increase our Spanish vocabulary, practice our listening and writing skills, and engage in conversation. We will accomplish this through immersion instruction, guided drawing, short writing opportunities and open dialogue. 
 
In each meeting we will focus on a set of vocabulary words which we will draw and get to practice in class. 

Four examples of themes are as follows:

Week #1 (Jan 4th):

Week #2 (Jan 11th):
emotions
happy
mad
surprised
sad
shy

Week #3 (Jan 19th: 
seasons
Winter
Spring
Summer
Fall

Week #4 (Jan 26th):

Class time will consist of vocabulary review (spelling, pronunciation and visual examples), using the vocabulary in context with translations and a step-by-step guided drawing in Spanish immersion. 

*Please note: Drawing instruction will be in all Spanish. Students are NOT expected to understand everything said in this portion of the class. But, don't worry. Each step is also shown on camera. It is meant to provide an immersive experience and an opportunity for additional language acquisition.
