⭐This class can be a good fit for your learner if:
-They are already reading and writing in English.
-They know little to no vocabulary in Spanish.
-They are willing to repeat words and practice reading out loud.

In this ongoing class we will work on vocabulary and reading in Spanish. Through stories written and illustrated by Maestra Zia students will engage with the text, perfect their pronunciation and increase comprehension . Short hands on activities related to the stories might also be included.  

Each week we will focus on a set of new vocabulary words which we will see in action within our story and get to practice in class. 
Class time will consist of reading exercises, vocabulary review (spelling, pronunciation and examples) and a digital story time. We will also try to create a space for discussion/review and interaction. 

Week #1 (Sept. 6th): Mira Esto, Mira Eso.
Week #2 (Sept. 13th): ¿Qué Tienes?
Week #3 (Sept. 20th): ¡Esta Gracioso!
Week #4 (Sept. 27th): Estoy Buscando...
(this class has 50 weeks total for a full year of learning)

Maestra Zia is a happy teacher who loves to provide positive reinforcement and encourage student participation while instructing and modeling materials in a clear and fun way.  

Students will be encouraged to interact using their newly acquired Spanish vocabulary and because this is an ongoing class, they will have the opportunity to form friendships and grow together as we see each other on a consistent basis.
