Spanish Spot: Lectura e inmersión para principiantes avanzados (grupo máximo de 4 estudiantes)

This class has a maximum of 4 students per section in order to assure ample participation opportunities for each learner. 

Our goal will be to:
- increase our Spanish vocabulary through digital short story books
- practice reading comprehension
- answer questions verbally
- explore syntax and grammar
 
Each week we will focus on learning and using a new set of vocabulary words. We will see them used in context within the story and interact with them in both oral and written form.

Class time will consist of:
-vocabulary review (spelling, meaning, pronunciation and sentence writing)
-reading a digital story 
-questions delivered by students to each other
-worksheet focused on syntax and grammar 

Maestra Zia is a happy teacher who loves to provide positive reinforcement and encourage student participation while instructing and modeling materials in a clear and fun way.  

Students will be encouraged to interact with each other in Spanish and because this is an ongoing class, they will have the opportunity to create rapport as they see each other on a consistent basis. 

Experience is required. This is an advanced beginners class meant to expand vocabulary  in a fun way while working on speaking and sentence structure
