In this Spanish immersion preschool class for native & heritage speakers, students will learn academic skills to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond in Spanish. Students will have Circle Time content, where they will review greetings, feelings, weather expressions, and days of the week. Each week, we explore a new preschool theme and we ensure that students know their basic preschool skills, including colors, numbers, and shapes. 

Each child will be encouraged to speak during each class session, and we provide activity bundles to continue learning outside of our class time. This class is 100% in Spanish and ideal for native Spanish or heritage Spanish speakers who need to increase and expand their Spanish-speaking language skills.

Our class routine includes:

➡️ Greeting Song 
➡️ Circle Time Activities (i.e. Days of the Week, Months of the Year & Weather, etc.)
➡️ Weekly Theme 
➡️ Farewell Song

Our class meets 2x per week. Each week, our themes vary, but we reintroduce previous concepts weekly so children can join any week! If the teacher sees that your child is frustrated when hearing or speaking Spanish, gentle encouragement will be given to help them understand. 

🚧🚧This class is a for Spanish speakers who have not been introduced to academic content in Spanish. It is structured to be a stress-free class to promote and encourage interest in continuing to learn Spanish. If you are looking for a structured note-taking class where children are restrained from being themselves, this is not the class for your child. In your effort to support your child, we respectfully ask that you maintain the role of a moderator for your child and not participate in the lesson during class time. You will receive a recording of the class for review, where you can work one-on-one with your child. 🚧🚧
