Welcome to my sibling-focused Spanish class, an excellent opportunity for families to learn together! This program is specially designed for siblings with a 1-3 year age difference, creating an environment where they can support, facilitate, and even lead each other in their language-learning journey. The curriculum is customized for absolute beginners, helping them grasp the basics and build confidence from the ground up. For siblings who already have some Spanish knowledge, I’ll guide you in refining pronunciation (speaking and reading fluency/comprehension), expanding vocabulary (acquisition and retention), enhancing conversational skills (organizing ideas and practicing with fluent speakers), and deepening grammar understanding (conjugating in the present tense, mastering two past tenses, and tackling advanced structures, usage, and practice). What learners can expect in this 25-minute lesson: Learn basic Spanish greetings and introductions Practice pronunciation of Spanish words and phrases Learn how to ask and answer basic questions in Spanish Engage in a simple conversation with a native Spanish speaker Beginner Spanish curriculum outline: Sample Topics Unit 1: Basics Lesson 1: Greetings and introductions Lesson 2: Numbers Lesson 3: Days of the week and months of the year Lesson 4: Telling time Lesson 5: Basic verbs Unit 2: Expanding Vocabulary Lesson 6: Food and drink Lesson 7: Clothing Lesson 8: Family Lesson 9: Animals Lesson 10: Transportation Unit 3: Grammar Lesson 11: Present tense conjugation Lesson 12: Past tense conjugation Lesson 13: Future tense conjugation Lesson 14: Conditional tense conjugation Lesson 15: Subjunctive mood Unit 4: Conversation Lesson 16: Making requests Lesson 17: Giving directions Lesson 18: Talking about likes and dislikes Lesson 19: Expressing emotions Lesson 20: Storytelling If your family has more than two siblings, please reach out for a tailored class for your family.
