Nivel Intermediate
In this live weekly Spanish conversation club, learners will have fun talking about different topics in Spanish. Each weekly discussion will be guided by the teacher. We will start each meeting with greetings and a feelings check. Then we will jump right into the topic of the week. Learners may join in at any time, and may also repeat themes whenever they choose. During each meeting, the learners will be encouraged to used vocabulary pertaining to each topic. A handout with key phrases and vocabulary will be provided prior to each meeting, so that learners can review what they already know, as well as seek out new words and phrases they might like to use during our class. **Learners will be guided by the teacher to use correct grammar and encourage authentic pronunciation. This may involve using some brief communication in English, so that the learner understands what to correct in their speaking.** Questions will be presented by the teacher, in order to assist learners in discussing each weekly topic. Powerpoint pictures may be used for certain topics. We will occasionally play games for some topics. For some themes, learners will be encouraged to bring items to class that will pertain to the topic. The weekly topics are as follows: Week of April 14: Pets Week of April 21: Weather and Seasons Week of April 28: Clothing and Accessories Week of May5: In the Garden Week of May 12: At the Zoo Week of May 19: Let's go Camping! Week of June 2: Summer Week of June 9: The Ice cream Shop Week of June 16: We're on Vacation! Week of June 23: Let's go to the Restaurant Week of June 30: A Trip to the Beach Week of July 7: At the Aquarium Week of July 14: At the Grocery Store Week of July 21: At the Park Week of July 27: It is Time for a Party Week of August 4: Sports Week of August 11: My house Week of August 18: Hobbies and Interests More topics will be added to the schedule.

Requisitos previos
Learners should be at the end of beginner level Spanish, and have some basic conversational skills in Spanish, as well as know a wide range of vocabulary.
