Escritura creativa sobre cómics en español para estudiantes avanzados de español

**Please note that this class is not to teach your learners Spanish but for them to have an immersive experience in the Spanish language.  This is a Spanish immersion session for bilingual speaking learners, heritage speakers, or dual-language learners and it is taught in Spanish**

This is a Spanish immersion class for advanced bilingual learners, heritage speakers, or dual-language learners that know how to read and write in Spanish. In this one-time class, advanced learners will create their own story using a comic strip template that I will provide upon enrollment.  

In this 50-minute class, students will create or reconstruct a sequence of events for their story in Spanish.  They will organize the ideas, characters, setting, theme, and plot of their story.  Using their imagination and creativity they will depict a story, convey a message, or express interesting information. They will make their own drawings to match the text of their comic strip.  Please note that this is not a drawing class but a creative writing class.  

Materials needed: 
Print the blank comic strip template that I will provide upon enrollment (print 2 or 3 sheets)
Pencils
Colored pencils and/or thin markers
