Jump-start your child’s growing years with Spanish at an early age! Join our ongoing club for beginners ages 3-5, featuring 25-minute lessons with a fun, widely loved Spanish curriculum aligned with ACTFL Standards. Little ones will dive into Spanish with joy through engaging activities that build vocabulary and confidence. They’ll learn vowels, the alphabet, numbers, common phrases, and more through lively songs, games, colorful visuals, and interactive practice—all shared live online. Each lesson boosts pronunciation, introduces basic grammar, and lays the foundation for literacy in a playful group setting. From mastering Spanish sounds to counting and asking “¿Qué es esto?”—it’s perfect for any start date! Lesson Sample/Overview Each 25-minute lesson kicks off with a vibrant Spanish song to spark vocabulary and sharpen pronunciation, shared live via screen. Learners will join teacher-student verbal fun, guided by a fun online program, practicing words. They’ll explore counting with math games (e.g., matching numbers), play memory games to reinforce the alphabet, and enjoy interactive visuals to keep learning fun. “La Profesora” wraps up with a short, themed recap to solidify learning. This is a 6 Week Program Only, We meet x2 a Week! Alignment with ACTFL Standards The ACTFL World-Readiness Standards for Learning Languages include five key areas (the 5 Cs): Communication: Interacting in the target language. Cultures: Understanding cultural perspectives and practices. Connections: Linking language learning to other disciplines. Comparisons: Comparing language and culture. Communities: Using language to engage with communities. Below is the Breakdown: April 15, 2025-Lesson 1 Los Pollitos ("The Little Chicks"). Students will practice greetings, feelings, and numbers while learning new words related to farm animals and everyday expressions. The lesson encourages listening, speaking, and reading skills through interactive activities like singing, matching, and spelling. By engaging with culturally authentic material, students will build confidence in using Spanish in real-life situations. April 18, 2025-Lesson 2 Mi Familia ("My Family"). This lesson focuses on introducing family vocabulary in Spanish, helping young learners identify and name family members like mamá, papá, hermano, and hermana. Through engaging activities like singing, matching, and spelling, students will practice pronunciation and develop basic language skills. The lesson encourages listening, speaking, and recognition of key family terms in a fun and supportive environment. By connecting language learning with familiar family concepts, students build confidence in using Spanish naturally. April 22, 2025-Lesson 3 Mi Cuerpo ("My Body"). This lesson introduces young learners to body parts in Spanish through interactive activities like singing, spelling, and matching. Students will learn to identify and name body parts such as manos (hands) and pies (feet) while practicing pronunciation and listening skills. The lesson encourages communication and builds confidence in using Spanish in everyday situations. April 25, 2025-Lesson 4 Mi Escuelita ("My Little School") This lesson introduces school-related vocabulary in Spanish, helping young learners identify terms like maestra (teacher), estudiante (student), and escuela (school). Through singing, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice listening, speaking, and identifying common school-related terms. The lesson encourages communication and builds confidence in using Spanish in a school setting. April 29, 2025-Lesson 5 Mi Arcoiris ("My Rainbow") This lesson introduces young learners to colors in Spanish, helping them identify and name colors like rojo (red), azul (blue), and verde (green). Through singing, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice listening, speaking, and recognizing color terms. The lesson builds confidence in using Spanish and helps students make real-world connections with colors. May 2, 2025-Lesson 6 La Granja ("The Farm") This lesson introduces young learners to farm animals in Spanish, helping them identify and name animals like gato (cat), perro (dog), vaca (cow), and cerdo (pig). Through singing, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice listening, speaking, and recognizing farm-related terms. The lesson builds confidence in using Spanish in real-world situations. May 7, 2025-Lesson 7 Feliz Cumpleaños ("My birthday") This lesson introduces young learners to birthday-related vocabulary in Spanish, helping them identify and use terms like regalo (gift), pastel (cake), globos (balloons), and vela (candle). Through singing, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice listening, speaking, and recognizing birthday-related terms. The lesson helps build confidence in using Spanish in real-world settings like birthday celebrations. May 9th, 2025 Mi Ropa ("My Clothing")-Lesson 8 This lesson introduces young learners to clothing vocabulary in Spanish, helping them identify and use terms like camiseta (T-shirt), sombrero (hat), zapatos (shoes), and abrigo (coat). Through singing, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice listening, speaking, and recognizing clothing-related terms. The lesson helps build confidence in using Spanish in everyday conversations about clothing. May 14th, 2025 T engo Hambre ("m Hungry")Lesson 9 This lesson teaches young learners how to ask for food politely in Spanish using phrases like quiero (I want) and por favor (please). Students will practice naming food items such as pan (bread), manzana (apple), and jugo (juice) while reinforcing polite requests through listening and speaking activities. The lesson helps build confidence in using Spanish in real-world situations like mealtime. May 16th, 2025 Yo Voy a la Playa ("I go to the Beach") Lesson 10 This lesson introduces young learners to beach-related vocabulary in Spanish, helping them identify and name terms like playa (beach), sol (sun), arena (sand), and mar (ocean). Through listening, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice using beach-related terms in real-world contexts. May 21, 2025 Me Gusta, No Me Gusta ("I like, I don't like") Lesson 11 This lesson teaches young learners how to express likes and dislikes in Spanish using phrases like me gusta (I like) and no me gusta (I don’t like). Students will practice talking about common objects and activities, such as food, weather, and hobbies, while building confidence in real-life conversations. May 23, 2025-Final Lesson Mi Jardin ("My Garden") Lesson 12 This lesson introduces young learners to garden-related vocabulary in Spanish, helping them identify and name terms like flor (flower), árbol (tree), pájaro (bird), and sol (sun). Through listening, spelling, and matching activities, students will practice using garden-related terms in real-world contexts.
