Hola! Bienvenido a Spanish 101 Beginner's Course for Children. A week of Spanish from the comfort of your home. Taught by a native and experienced Spanish teacher, for a fun and interactive learning experience in the fundamentals of the Spanish language!

What will be taught?
In this course, learners will be introduced to the basics of the Spanish language, including the alphabet, basic vocabulary, sentence structure, and pronunciation.

Throughout the course, we will cover greetings, introductions, numbers, colors, family, and basic conversations. We will build on previous lessons each week to help learners feel confident and comfortable using Spanish in real-life situations.

How is your class structured?
The class will be structured into seven weekly sessions, each lasting 30 minutes. Each session will include a brief introduction to the topic, interactive activities, and opportunities for learners to practice speaking and listening.

How will you teach?
Our teaching approach is immersive and communicative, focusing on the active use of the language rather than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. We use various teaching materials, such as flashcards, videos, songs, and games, to keep the class engaging and enjoyable for learners.

What's your teaching style?
We believe that learning a new language should be fun and interactive! Our teaching style is friendly, patient, and encouraging, creating a supportive environment where learners can feel confident trying new words and phrases.

How much will learners get to interact with you and each other?
Learners will get ample opportunities to interact with the teacher and their peers. We use various teaching methods, including group activities, role-plays, games, and discussions, to encourage learners to practice speaking, listening, and comprehension skills in a supportive environment.

Do any required experience or knowledge learners need?
No prior experience or knowledge of Spanish is necessary for this course. The class is designed for beginners and is suitable for children aged 6-12 interested in learning Spanish. All learners need is a willingness to learn and participate in the class.

This is a learner-led Spanish class. This means that I will select a topic that I believe will benefit most students enrolled in the course, considering their age and level of Spanish proficiency. Together, we will explore this topic and work collaboratively to enhance our Spanish language skills. So, come prepared to engage and learn in a dynamic and interactive classroom environment!


This class is ESL Friendly. Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. (CEFR: all levels) Class is appropriate for CEFR: A1, A2, B1, B2 C1, C2.
