Hello Friends! Welcome to my fun math class for cool kids aged 7 to 14! I'm super stoked to be your teacher and dive into the world of math with you. In my class, we're going to cover all the good stuff—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. These are the foundations to the tougher parts of math that you'll reach later on. But don't worry, we're going to make it fun and easy! I am also open to working on math concepts outside of multiplication and division on request. So, what's the plan? We're going to mix things up with math sheets, watch some cool videos, flash those cards, and play tons of games to really get those math muscles working. My style? It's all about getting you involved and having a good time. We'll chat, solve problems together, and have some awesome discussions. No boring lectures here—we're all about learning by doing. I recommend visiting me twice a week for a fun 30-minute session. That way, we can keep the momentum going and build your confidence with math! So, if you're ready for a laid-back and personalized math journey, come join me! We'll boost your skills, build your confidence, and have a blast while we're at it!

Hi there! I’m Amber Carrico, and I’m so excited to be your teacher!
I’m a proud mom of three amazing daughters, and education has always been something I truly care about. I've been teaching ESL since 2018, and I’ve also had the joy of homeschooling my oldest daughter—which has only deepened my passion for helping kids learn and grow.
I hold a Level 1 Early Childhood Education certificate, which gave me a solid understanding of how kids develop and learn best. I’ve also completed 160-hour certifications in TEFL, TEOL, and TEYL (that’s Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Online, and to Young Learners), so I bring lots of tools and techniques to help every learner succeed in their own way.
When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me curled up with a good book or exploring something new—I love learning just as much as I love teaching! And of course, spending time with my family is one of my biggest joys.
In my classes, my goal is to keep things fun, engaging, and welcoming for students of all ages. I truly believe learning should be accessible to everyone.
