Some of us find it hard to read social cues. We misread what others are saying or what we see. In this class we will go through scenarios that will help us to see other people’s perspectives, how to appreciate differences and how to think through our words and actions before we lose our self-control. 

My classes are taught with understanding and kindness. All children are welcome! 

This is a multi-day class. Videos will be recorded so you may watch them at your convenience. There are many ways for your learner to interact during the class. You are always welcome to chat in the classroom or private message me. I will be asking questions so we can get to know each other better and so you can show all of us your hobbies and interests. 

Class outline:

Class #1

How to express our feelings without losing our self-control. Staying calm in times of everyday stressors.

Class #2

Seeing other people’s perspectives and understanding personal space.

Class #3

Reading cues, facial expressions and body language. How to read the situation.

Class #4

Playing well with others, being a good friend in different situations. Keeping a good attitude when you are frustrated. 

The videos are shorter than a live class. Your child is welcome to pause, rewatch and take notes. Since this is not a live class with interaction, all of the information can be presented in a shorter time frame. Thus making it more informative and easier for students to sit through.

Learners are free to post questions and answers! Students will be expected to participate in discussions with me and other students. I believe we learn more together! Bring your ideas, your dreams of being the next great character developer and we will encourage each other along the way. I will post questions, videos and games to keep students engaged in the class. Learners can post their answers and comments on the classroom page for us to get to know each other and learn together.
