This on-going class is designed for students who may be shy, but would love to share their favorite things from the comfort of their home OR for students who enjoy talking with others!  I ask that each student have an item ready to share with the teacher and peers (see the weekly list below). 

The first couple minutes of the class will be for talking about what we did during the week and for introducing ourselves.  Then, your student will have the option to share his/her item(s) by practicing using complete sentences, descriptive words, telling a story or to give myself and the peers clues about the item that was brought to class.  Either option is fun!  Students who are not sharing should be listening attentively and can even ask their peers questions about the item that was shown.  

**Whoever shares last, has the option to go first during the next week's class.**

When all our friends have had a chance to share, we will play games like a Scavenger Hunt, Would You Rather, or Search And Find.  Please note that because every week has a different theme, the length of time for playing games may vary.  Some weeks, we take up the whole class with sharing and giving clues.  Other weeks, we have plenty of time to play games.

Week of January 20: Bring two items that are opposites (big/small, black/white).

Week of February 17: Bring a picture from your favorite vacation/place/room.

Week of March 17:  Bring an item that starts with the first letter of your name.
Week of March 24:  Bring something that has your favorite color on it.

Week of April 27: Bring something that reminds you of spring.
Week of May 4: First Wednesday=No Class.
Week of May 11: Bring something that you would need to do your dream job!
Week of May 18: Student Choice.
Week of May 25: Bring something that you have made.
Week of June 1:  First Wednesday=No Class.
Week of June 8: Bring a toy or item that has your favorite superhero/princess on it!
Week of June 15: Bring your pet (real or toy) to class!
Week of June 22: Bring something to class that reminds you of summer!
Week of June 29: First Wednesday=No Class.
Week of July 6: Bring something to class that feels soft.
Week of July 13: Show us something that you keep in your kitchen. 
Week of July 20: Show us something like an instrument, a game, or a sport!
Week of July 27:  Student Choice.

Week of August 10: Wear your favorite shirt to class! 
Week of August 17: Bring something to class that will fit inside a cereal/shoe box. 
Week of August 24: Student choice.

Week of September 15: Show us something that you take to school. 
Week of September 22: Wear your favorite hat!
Week of September 29: Student Choice.
Week of October 6: First Wednesday=No Class.

Week of October 20: Come to class in a costume!
Week of October 27:Student Choice.
Week of November 3: First Wednesday=No Class.

Week of November 17: Bring your favorite food, draw a picture of it, or describe it!
Week of November 24: Student Choice.
Week of December 2: First Wednesday=No Class.
Week of December 9: Bring something to class that makes noise!
Week of December 16: Bring something that has to do with your favorite hobby.
Week December 23: **No Classes this week.**
Week of December 30: Bring an item that brings you joy!
