Certified Preschool and K-5
Greetings families,
I have been teaching, tutoring and mentoring since 1994. I retired from the school district 2019 to teach from home full-time and to continue homeschooling my children. I can attest first hand that homeschooling my children was the best decision I ever could have made.
With a son in college for mechanical engineering and daughter who will be furthering her college dream in veterinary medicine (small animals), I have no regrets.
My teaching inspirations for preschool and primary education are supported by some of the most respectable educating systems and educator of our times like Dr. Maria Tecla Artemisia Montessori and The Reggio Emilia approach. I have included many of their philosophies in my courses like child-centered learning, individualized instruction, collaboration and community which has helped to develop well-rounded capable learners in my courses.
