This class is designed for families with multiple children in the same grade to take Math tutoring. All children should come from the same family. Parents should message me before class begins and let me know what they would like me to cover. I can review homework, pre-teach something, or help them in areas they are having difficulty. If you are looking for a one-on-one class, please message me and I will send you a link to the other class lesson.

I will use the Zoom interactive whiteboard to teach students. Sometimes I will use resources on Google Drive to also show a concept. 

If we are reviewing homework, I ask that you send me the work we will be working on or that your child can share their screen. If you are sending the worksheet, you can scan it or take a picture with a phone and send it to me through the messenger on Outschool. I am not able to receive any attachments sent through responses to Outschool emails. 

If you choose to have your child be pre-taught something, I will use US standards for your child's grade level. 

Some examples of topics that might be done in tutoring include:
- adding
- subtracting
- multiplication
- division
- fractions
- word problems
- area, perimeter, and volume
- ratios & rates
- one step and two step equations
- inequalities


Please note that many times the first tutoring session with a student involves some jumping around. Since this is my first time working with them, I like to try to figure out what they know and what strategies they use. If you have any information about books or methods that are used in school or anything else you think will be helpful for instruction, please let me know.
