Tarea
1 hora por semana. We may have some health challenges, where student will be challenged to stay away from certain foods for the week or create a meal plan. Doing research to find out what is a healthy meal to eat before a match and what should we eat after a match. *All homework is tailored to each learner*
Evaluación
Students will be assessed through multiple question/feedback throughout the lesson. Students will be given feedback at the end of class as well. Students will be challenged to do better than they did in the previous class to display improvement.

Experiencia de clase

These carefully designed small group classes will test your limits and help you exceed your own expectations. Each portion of these classes are designed to sculpt every part of your body, as well as increase stamina and improve strength. The lesson plan will be specifically tailored to each student. We will write down our fitness goals or goals we have within our sports and create a lesson plan that will help achieve those targets. We will talk about meal prep and how that can be beneficial for our health. We will learn about multiple different diets and how to have a healthy lifestyle.

 I am a professional athlete and I do not always go to the gym to workout, you can do great workouts from home that are just as good as going to the gym.

These classes will allow you to reach your fitness goals fast without spending hours in the gym. These full body fitness classes are designed workouts for muscle growth and strength regardless of your training experience. They not only enable you to optimize your training frequency and recovery throughout the week, but are also time efficient and in this case require only 2 workouts per week.

Class Structure Example:

Each session will focus on various exercises enabling a full body workout along with healthy eating habits

15-20 minutes 
Health Review & Topic of the week
- Talk about what we ate for the week
- What foods we should put in our body
- Eating Habits
- Portion Sizes
- Proper Meal Prep
- Various Healthy Diets
- Healthy Food Eating Challenges

20 minutes 
Full Body Interval Training:
3 rounds Each (40 seconds on and 20 seconds rest)

Complete Full Body Warm Up 5 minutes

Upper Body (3 rounds) 9-12 minutes
• Standard Push up
• In and Out Push ups
• Dips (Triceps)
• High Plank to Low Plank
• Half Plank Hold

Rest for water break 1-2 minutes

Lower Body ( 3 rounds) 9-12 minutes
• Regular or Atomic Burpees
• Jump squats
• Pulse Lunges 
• Squat 4 punches to High Knees 4 Punches
• Jump Tucks

Rest for water break 1-2 minutes

Abs and Core (1 round) 8 minutes
• Mountain climbers
• Plank
• Star Crunches
• Feet 6 inches
• High Plank Knee to Opposite Elbow

Closing comments 3-5 minutes

I am equipped with the skill set to mix things up and keep workouts interesting. By implementing diverse routines, students will remain engaged while garnering new abilities.

- Students will learn that fitness in general can keep them active, healthy, and happy.
- Students will learn how important warm up exercises and stretching is important to recovery and reducing muscle soreness. 
- I'll also be sharing how I train for my professional games which is great for the young sports athletes. (great for cardiovascular, endurance and strength).
- Inside look how a NCAA University Athlete trains
- Students will learn about better eating habits
- Different foods that are healthy for the body and what is not healthy for the body
- How to meal prep
- The key foods that give us the proper energy to perform in our respective sport(s)
- Overall, how to push through when things get tough, which essentially will be a life skill that can be translated in any area in our lives.

I am a professional basketball athlete and a certified sports coach. I have been a basketball coach and fitness trainer for ages 7-18 for boys and girls from all around the world throughout the past 10+ years. I have experience working with different populations including general individuals, endurance athletes, strength athletes, basketball athletes, and physique athletes.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Psychology - with a concentration in human behaviours
I have a PGC in Sports Coaching at the Masters Level from Worcester University in the UK

With my experience as a former Division 1 NCAA Basketball Athlete (in the U.S.) and my current 
Professional Basketball career (played/lived in France Portugal,England,Canada, and China) full body fitness has become a part of my life style. Through my education and career, I have developed an understanding of how to teach lifestyle and behaviour change through evidence-based methods that promote the adoption of exercise and full body fitness. These exercises are inspired by my experiences with NCAA Division 1 programs and European professional sports. 

My philosophy has always been focused on the fundamentals. A win for me is seeing the student’s progression from where they began. Each student is unique in their own way and it is my job to identify their special gift and help bring it out of them. 

A quote I live by is "You have to do something you've never done, to get somewhere you never gone"
This class will give you tools and knowledge to help bring your fitness and endurance to the next level.
