One of the best ways to organize your artistic thoughts is through sketchbooking! In this class, learners will be taught how to start a sketchbook of their very own, and will be given a prompt to get things started each day. A sketchbook serves as a way to watch your art grow and change over time. You can experiment with different techniques, or dedicate an entire sketchbook to a specific area of interest. Art is a lifelong passion, and my journey with art started in middle school. I have worked in many different media, but my favorites are sketching, drawing, watercolor, and photography. I’ve been keeping sketchbooks for nearly 20 years, and they’ve helped me document my journey with art, as well as important milestones in my life. I want to help learners find their artistic passion and help them do the same.
An 8.5" by 11" or larger sketchbook, preferably hardbound, but spiral bound is acceptable as well Craft glue Scissors A pen or a pencil Any other art materials of the student's choice
