Music/song is an excellent way to help young learners understand and remember fundamental learning concepts. This class utilizes songs and games to help learners engage with the concepts we go over in class, as well as connect/play together.

I will open the class with a fun icebreaker that gives the learners a chance to get to know each other and interact with each other.
We will then go over the days of the week and the weather, during which time learners are welcome to share what the weather is like where they live. After singing some circle time songs, we will have a time of show and tell where learners are invited to share an item of their choice with the rest of the class. We will then play a game of I Spy together.

Max, my puppet puppy, will be a sure form of entertainment throughout the session as he participates with the learners and somehow ends up eating way too many doggy biscuits.

While this is scheduled for twenty-five minutes, this class is based heavily on learner participation; end time may vary depending on the number of learners in the class and their participation level.
