In this 4-week self-paced (asynchronous) class, we will have a blast learning how to read Dolch 2nd Grade Sight Words (words that we see all of the time while reading).  Learners can wear their favorite silly hair during class if they would like to (optional).  We will use flash cards, magnetic letters (by themselves), magnetic letters on a whiteboard, words typed on an online whiteboard, and build Sight Word Pyramids to help us learn how to read/identify Sight Words!  


Each lesson will include pre-recorded, engaging educational videos.  Watch and interact with the videos at the time that is most convenient for you.  That's one thing I love about self-paced classes.  Everybody's schedule is different, and we live in various time zones.  It makes it easier when we can focus on our learning when it is best for us to.  


Each lesson will also include a fun learning activity.  The instructions will be posted with each assignment.  All learning activities are optional.



Class learning objectives:


Lesson 1: Learn how to read/identify Dolch 2nd Grade Sight Words (always, around, because, been, before, best, both, buy, call, cold, does, don't).

Lesson 2: Learn how to read/identify Dolch 2nd Grade Sight Words (fast, first, five, found, gave, goes, green, its, made, many, off, or).

Lesson 3: Learn how to read/identify Dolch 2nd Grade Sight Words (pull, read, right, sing, sit, sleep, tell, their, these, those, upon, us).

Lesson 4: Learn how to read/identify Dolch 2nd Grade Sight Words (use, very, wash, which, why, wish, work, would, write, your).
