We will explore the beauty of watercolor while painting this gentle snow scene.  Students will learn to control the water to paint mix to achieve multiple colors next to each other.  We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. We will have some basic colors to use and mixing our own colors will be encouraged.  A little color theory is always thrown into the lesson.  My teaching style is to give enough instruction to keep everyone on track while letting each person's individuality be expressed as well.
