Exploring the Actor's Toolbox
Students will be introduced to The Actor’s Toolbox, a foundational ritual that helps build focus, discipline, and collaboration. They will warm up with vocal and body exercises before engaging in interactive games like The Theatre Game and Drama Freezes, which encourage quick thinking, spatial awareness, and creativity.

Movement and Expressive Storytelling
Students will explore how their bodies can be used to tell a story. Through Crazy Classroom and Slow Motion Journey, they will practice exaggeration, pantomime, and controlled movement to develop stage presence and character physicality.

Lección 3:
Silent Performance and Expressing Emotion
Building on previous lessons, students will experiment with nonverbal storytelling using Toy Store and Mime Routine. They will develop their ability to communicate emotions and actions without words, strengthening their expressiveness and stage confidence.

Becoming a Character
Students will dive into character development through Character Walks and Emotion Switch. They will explore how posture, gestures, and facial expressions help bring characters to life, learning how physical choices impact performance and storytelling.

- Class will incorporate C.H.A.M.P.S. (Conversation, Help, Activity, Movement, Participation, and Success) This is a system of expectations that will be covered before each day of camp. It is an opportunity for students to ask clarifying questions and to help create a successful and safe learning environment.
- Physical activity will not be overly strenuous. Students are encouraged but not required to wear comfortable clothing that supports flexible movement. Please make sure that you have a water bottle nearby to stay hydrated.

I direct full-scale productions, design sets, and teach students essential performance and technical theatre skills. My approach emphasizes creativity, collaboration, and hands-on learning, incorporating activities such as The Actor’s Toolbox, improvisation, and scene work. With experience as a director, actor, and theatrical set designer, I am passionate about helping students develop their artistic abilities while fostering a love for theatre.
