Orientación para padres
This class is for teens only - some of the material can be considered PG-13 due to the sense of humor and ignorance of medicine at the time these plays were written.
Lista de útiles escolares
I will provide an electronic copy of all plays in PDF format, obtained with permission from the Folger Shakespeare Library. If students choose to use additional resources or copies of the play, they should understand that they are still responsible for all content in these PDF files.
Recursos externos
Los estudiantes no necesitarán utilizar ninguna aplicación o sitio web más allá de las herramientas estándar de Outschool.
Fuentes
I will provide copies of all reading materials. I studied Early British Drama for 3 semesters in college as part of the focus of my major in Visual and Performing Arts, so my expertise is part of the source materials. The remainder of sources are readily available online and will be disseminated to students throughout the course when applicable. All presentations will be accompanied by bibliography, which will also be expected of students' papers and projects.

Perfil
Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
I hold a BA in Performing and Visual Arts with a focus in Early British Drama and Shakespeare and have won several awards for my work in this field. I have spent over 20 years studying and producing the works of Shakespeare and his contemporaries.
In my classes we use video, guests, and unconventional tools to learn the topic together. I design all of my instruction around first creating a safe space, then doing what I call a "Sweep the Corners" review at the start of each session. At the completion of the course, we always Pack Up our learning and set off into our vast world!
