In this semi-private girl's singing club, learners will build healthy singing habits in a fun and engaging way! Each lesson will begin with a vocal warm-up. We will practice breathing exercises, vocal slides, solfège scales and silly tongue twisters. Once our voices are warmed up, we will practice a pre-selected song together as a group. Teacher will choose songs to work on collectively. Songs will vary, from Disney to kid-friendly pop and songs from movie soundtracks. We will dedicate 2 weeks to each song, allowing students ample time to master each one before moving on. For the song portion of class, we will first watch a lyric video together and then go over the song line by line, accompanied by an instrument or a cappella. I will provide links to the songs and lyrics in advance. Throughout the weeks we will cover basic vocal technique and fundamentals such as proper breath support, head and chest registers, intonation and expressive singing. Please note, certain segments of the class will be muted to ensure learners can hear themselves and the demonstrations clearly. There will also be plenty of opportunities to sing solo throughout the class!
