This is a 6 week self-paced class where the students will read through chapters of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone each week. Each week there will be a video talking about the chapters that were assigned, vocabulary for the chapters and prepping the next chapters. Students will have short answers questions, multiple choice, and vocabulary matching worksheets to complete. Every student will need a copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling and each week they will need to read the chapters before the next class. Students are expected to actively participate during class and with the assigned reading and worksheets each week. This is a self-paced course; there are NO live classes.
Metas de aprendizaje
Students will learn to establish and share their own thoughts while reading a book. We will be looking at new vocabulary for each of the chapters. Discussing what we think about what has happened, is happening and will happen as we move through the book.
