This is a seed-saving workshop for anyone interested in gardening, farming, ecology, or plant breeding. Upon completing the workshop you will have the skills and confidence to save and replant seeds from your favorite vegetables, flowers, trees, and more. Via a combination of lecture and live demonstration, we will cover: How plants reproduce from pollination to germination. How and when to harvest seeds. How to process, store, and plant different types of seeds. And the basics of plant breeding. Learn to produce your own seeds for a sustainable garden, save and replant your favorite plants, and even breed your own plant varieties!

I have 7 years of experience in organic farming, and a B.S. in sustainable agriculture. Seeds, seed saving, and crop breeding have always been my favorite topics in sustainable agriculture.
