BYOP-- Bring Your Own Pumpkin! We're having a pumpkin decorating party and celebrating Halloween together. We'll discuss Halloween family traditions as we decorate our own pumpkins with materials from home, and we'll end with a Halloween story about a little Hobgoblin, created by me. This will be a completely secular celebration. This class will be taught from a Waldorf-inspired perspective. Please remember that simple costumes are best, and do not wear anything that completely obscures the face, such as a mask. Costumes should be more along tradition lines--witches and wizards, gnomes, fairies, characters for stories, fairy tales, mythology and literature, animals, etc. Homemade is best!
Metas de aprendizaje
The main goal of this class is to explore how families celebrate Halloween while socializing with other learners and engaging in a creative activity.
