Our Scratch game development course is the perfect choice for beginners! No download is needed - It is entirely browser based. With its intuitive drag-and-drop system, Scratch allows even those with no programming experience to create interactive animations and full-fledged games. In this course, our experienced instructors provide personalized guidance and support, helping students to gain valuable experience with this popular visual programming platform. Learners will explore game mechanics, storytelling, and other fundamentals of game design, building essential STEM skills while enhancing problem-solving and critical thinking abilities through creativity and exploration. Whether the learner is an aspiring game developer or just wants to learn an important skill, this class offers a fun and accessible way to learn the basics of game development. Each week, we will focus on a game theme:

Week of 8/12: Name Art
Week of 8/19: Feed Your Pet
Week of 8/26: Name Art
Week of 9/2: Escape the Ghost
Week of 9/9: Make a Moving Character
