This class helps students get started with Scratch and introduces them to the amazing possibilities of Scratch.  Scratch is an incredible tool for getting started with coding and will grow with students over time.

What is Scratch?
How to Organize Your Scratch Account
How to Find Ideas for Scratch Projects (Games, Animations, Art, Websites)
Build a Fun Scratch Animation
What can you build with Scratch?

There is no experience necessary for this class. This is a positive and supportive environment for all students.

You can create a free account on https://scratch.mit.edu/join. Your student will need a Windows PC, Apple Mac, or Chromebook to complete this class. Unfortunately, Scratch does not work on iPads at this time.
