1. Students will be informed that each day theirs a different type of weather. Weather is are the conditions and temperature that is present outside. The teacher will show the different types of weather that cohabit on earth such as it is rainy, sunny, windy, and snowy. (4-5 minutes)

2. Next, I will introduce the definitions of temperature, precipitation, and climate to ensure a foundational understanding. (4-5 minutes)

(Measured in Celcius and parent Fahrenheit). (4-5 minutes)

4. The next tool that will be presented is an anemometer is a tool used to measure wind speed. Students will be shown a picture of an anemometer and of a meteorologist using it measure wind speed. Students will see a short video showing how to use it. (4-5 minutes)

5. The next tool that will be presented is a wind vane which is a tool used to measure the direction the wind is blowing. Students will see a picture of the wind vane in action. (4-5 minutes)
