In Part Two of Learn Some Facts About Storms, students will learn more amazing facts about storms. As students learn facts they will complete three different science experiments. Experiments include: Make a snow storm, Make Snow, and Make a hurricane in a bowl. Teacher will ask questions to guide students thinking throughout the lesson. Students do not need any prior knowledge about storms. Students do not need to complete Part 1 in order to take this class but thunderstorms, hail, rain, and tornadoes will not be covered in this class. All experiments are done live. If a student does not have supplies they may still participate in this class and watch the live experiment take place. Students will watch the experiment unfold and be asked questions about what they see to gauge their understanding. Please Note: Siblings and Co-Learners must be enrolled to attend and participate in class. *This class will still be taught with only one learner. Parents will be notified if no other learners have enrolled 24 hours prior to class, confirming that their learner is comfortable with a one on one class. My Name is Mrs. Bannert. I am a certified teacher. I have a Masters in Education. For the past five years I have taught in a public school setting and for the past three years I have taught in an online format. I am a certified science teacher. I love storms and learning more about them. I also love hands on learning.
