In this marine science class, students will work together in an escape room format. The scenario is this - On a scientific research diving mission to a sunken ship, the group suddenly became locked inside the ship. They must find the clues and solve the riddle to escape in 30 minutes.  The students will take turns selecting pictures that link to questions covering a variety of marine science and ocean organism concepts. The format of the class will ensure equity of voice, thought, and ideas. Students should be familiar with basic concepts of  science at a 4th or 5th grade level.
