En esta clase continua, los niños aprenderán las letras rusas, se concentrarán en los sonidos, desarrollarán la conciencia fonémica, habilidades previas a la lectura y trabajarán en habilidades matemáticas básicas. Practicaremos hablar ruso y aprenderemos nuevas palabras.

In this ongoing class I will balance academic components with movement, games, flash cards and songs. Kids at every age, especially younger ones need a routine, so I will keep the same structure each lesson. The familiar routine will add to children’s confidence and help them open up and actively participate in class. There will be a variety of activities during the class, some easy and familiar, some tasks at their level, and some will be challenging (one step up in the development). I...
- Children will: -learn letters and sounds -develop phonemic awareness -develop pre-reading skills -practice small motor skills (pre-writing skills) -speak using active vocabulary -acquire new vocabulary -develop critical thinking -develop basic Math skills using Russian vocabulary, e.g. counting, shapes, patterns, sorting etc. -listen to Russian poems and songs -be exposed to Russian culture through traditional Russian fairy-tale and cartoon characters
