This 16-class course is intended for learners of Russian at an elementary stage who wants to dive deep and take it seriously or for those who want to refresh their knowledge of grammar and improve vocabulary. You will be able to practice pronunciation and ask questions in every class. Per your request, I can provide homework. Plan: Lesson#1- Greeting, general words, numbers Lesson#2- Alphabet+Colors Lesson#3- Alphabet + Plural form Lesson#4- Gender of the noun + reading and building a vocabulary Lesson#5- My Family+Possesive pronoun+ Possession (I have) Lesson#6- Body parts+Weather+ Expressing likes and dislikes Lesson#7- Present Tense + My Day Lesson#8- Food Lesson#9- Past Tense Lesson#10- Future Tense Lesson# 11- To be able+ To want+ Can/May Lesson#12- Prefixes+ A lot/ A few Lesson#13- Introduction to Cases Lesson#14- Cases Lesson#15-Revision Unit+ Questions Lesson#16- Project+TEST Let's have fun while learning new words, pronouncing them correctly, and using them in conversation in a small group setting! I can't wait to see learners in my classroom and see their growth in their Russian fluency. If you miss the class or the teacher cancels the class each student will have an opportunity for one make-up date.

My name is Iryna. I have been working with the children for more than 16 years. My native language is Russian and Ukrainian. My passion for teaching expanded to teaching the Russian language from zero to discussing literature. My primary focus in teaching the Russian language is to expose students to the Russian language and teach them the fundamentals of the language in a fast and exciting way.
Also, I am a certified Kids Yoga Instructor with quite some years of teaching at daycares, schools, after-school programs, and Sunday schools. I give my classes the extra twist to make yoga more fun for the kids! My yoga classes combine storytelling, music, imagination, and movement allowing even the youngest of yogis to blossom and grow.
