What will be taught?
This class will teach collaborative storytelling, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork through the immersive lens of a tabletop role-playing game. Learners will explore environmental themes, ethics, and the consequences of their choices while engaging in an exciting fantasy narrative.

What topics will you cover?

The lore of Werewolf: The Apocalypse, including the Garou, Pentex, and the Wyrm.
Environmental themes, such as corporate corruption and ecological preservation.
Strategy and tactics for navigating encounters and conflicts in the Amazon War.
Role-playing skills, including character development and in-character decision-making.
How is your class structured?
The class is broken into sessions, each focusing on a specific chapter of the narrative. We begin with character introductions and group-building exercises before diving into gameplay. Each session includes storytelling, action sequences, and discussions, with time for feedback and reflection at the end.

How will you teach?
I will guide learners through the story as the Game Master, describing settings, controlling NPCs, and presenting challenges for the group to overcome. The class emphasizes interactive gameplay, allowing learners to make decisions, solve problems, and collaborate with their peers to progress in the story.

What's your teaching style?
My teaching style is engaging, adaptive, and learner-focused. I create a supportive environment where creativity and collaboration thrive. I balance structured storytelling with flexibility, allowing players to shape the narrative through their actions.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
Learners will interact with me throughout the entire session as I narrate the story, play NPCs, and guide discussions. They’ll engage in collaborative decision-making, role-playing, and problem-solving, with opportunities for individual contributions and group interactions. I will also provide regular feedback and answer questions to ensure a positive and immersive experience.


During the week of December 8th, learners make their characters.

During the week of December 15th, we start the story, the characters travel to the Amazon.

During the week of December 22nd, the characters get their first mission to protect the environment.

During the week of December 29th, the mission continues!
