Hi everyone! Welcome to Roblox Studio for Beginners: Weekly Class. New students are welcome ANYTIME. 

This is a live class for students that want to get weekly practice using Roblox Studio.

**** I offer over 30 different Roblox classes. The class you take first depends on your experience level with Roblox Studio (if any) and the things you want to learn and do. If you are unsure which Roblox class to take or where to start, feel welcome to send me a message BEFORE enrolling****

This is typically the roblox studio class that students take FIRST. A student that has NEVER used Roblox Studio before and wants to gain experience should start with this class. 

Roblox Studio is the program used to create Roblox games and only works on a Windows or Mac Computer.

This is NOT a coding class. This class does NOT teach students how to code. In fact, this is the kind of class that students take BEFORE learning how to code. 

This class is ideal for students that:
-- Are new to Roblox Studio
-- Just like to build stuff in their game. It is common for experienced Roblox Studio users take this class too because they just want to build stuff.

Here are the topics covered each week in this course. The content doesn't change much from week to week. The purpose of this class is for students to get weekly practice using the basic tools in Roblox Studio. We practice similar topics each week:

-- Basic navigation
-- Using the main building tools on the home tab
-- Building Techniques 
-- Learning about Explorer and Properties

This class does not cover any other topics. This class focuses on the basic tools. This is not a coding class. This class does NOT teach students how to code. I don't discuss coding and I do not assist or help fix code in this class.  

This class does not encourage use of the toolbox, a feature in Roblox Studio that contains premade objects that may not be appropriate for the classroom environment and/or may be unsafe.

Class Structure:
Learners thrive in this class when they are able to do the work themselves. This is a hands-on class. Learners are expected to have Roblox Studio open on their screen and follow along for practice.

A Windows/Mac computer is REQUIRED for this class.
A computer mouse is strongly encouraged but not required. 
Students must have basic computer skills before taking this class. 

Roblox Studio is required for the class and can be downloaded directly from the Roblox site: https://www.roblox.com/create

Please download, install, and log in to Roblox Studio before your first class.

I strongly recommend using two devices for class. One device, for Roblox Studio. Another screen/device for Outschool/Zoom.
