Hi, I’m Marianna, but my students call me Mz. Marianna. I use a Z in my name to remind every student that it's OK to be different and that's what makes us each unique! My journey into the world of teaching wasn’t straightforward, but it was driven by one unwavering belief: every child is a genius, and it’s up to us as educators to bring out their brilliance. Growing up, I faced my own challenges with learning. I was diagnosed with ADHD, English was not my first language, and traditional methods of teaching just didn’t resonate with me. I understood firsthand the struggle of feeling left behind and the frustration of not fitting into the standard mold.

But then, something magical happened. ✨ A teacher noticed my unique learning style and adapted their methods. They made learning FUN, and I could finally SEE it. Suddenly, the subjects I once dreaded became my favorite parts of the day. This transformation inspired me to become the kind of teacher who makes learning an adventure.

I have a Master’s Degree in Child Psychology and Education, with specialized training in Orton-Gillingham methods. Over the years, I’ve worked with children who have ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and other unique learning needs. My approach isn’t just about teaching math; it’s about creating an environment where children feel seen, heard, and excited to learn.
