Welcome to Roblox Math for Middle Schoolers

(Full Curriculum for 6th/7th Grade Math according to Common Core Standards - Begins Sept. 2024)

An engaging and interactive course aligned to follow Common Core Standards for Pre-Algebra! Students will embark on an exciting journey through Roblox while mastering key mathematical concepts.

What will be taught?

Throughout this ongoing course, students will explore various mathematical topics while exploring the immersive world of Roblox. Key concepts covered include ratios, proportions, percentages, integers, expressions, equations, and more, all in line with IB Common Core Standards.

How can this be for 6th and 7th grade standards?

Full-semester classes include a separate Khan Academy account for each child. They will each work through the same concepts but at their own pace and level. For example, we'll begin with ratios and proportions. The 6th graders will have an introduction, while the 7th graders will apply it to real-world scenarios. Then, we'll all play a Roblox game that allows them to connect between something they already know and understand (Roblox) and something new!
