Roblox: Beginner Spanish Club In this Spanish class learners will have fun playing their favorite games while learning Spanish. One of the best ways to practice and improve a language is through immersion, playing Roblox is an excellent way to create an immersion experience that will allow learners to use and improve their conversational skills while having some fun! This class is designed for learners who would like to learn Spanish and are beginning the journey to learn a new language! The main focus of this class is to: -Create a comfortable environment for Students to increase their confidence in speaking. -Learn new vocabulary. -Help correct pronunciation. -Practice Speaking. Each class will begin with a fun Spanish Ice breaker to learn about each other and warm up for our session. Following our warm up each learner will have the opportunity to share a little about their gameplay. Next, we will review the main vocabulary that we will use during class. Week of 30/6: Brookhaven - Get to know you and practice introducing yourself Week of 7/7: My Restaurant - Talking about likes and dislikes Week of 21/7: Adopt me - Learn animal names and talk about care Week of 28/7: Mini games - Colors and Numbers Students will be encouraged to use Spanish, I will help students if they seem to have a bit of difficulty with the game or phrasing things in Spanish. Throughout the game I will prompt conversations and asks questions to encourage conversation while correcting pronunciation and grammar with positive reinforcement. Technical Requirements: -ROBLOX ACCOUNT -FRIEND REQUEST SENT BEFORE CLASS Once enrolled I will send you my ROBLOX ID in a welcome message and you will need to send me your child's Roblox ID so I can accept them as a friend. The best way to make the most of this class is for learners to play Roblox on a separate device from the one they take their Outschool class on to minimize connectivity issues. If you have questions about any of these details, please message me at least 24 hours before class so that I have time to assist you.

This class utilizes the gaming platform Roblox which is approved by Outschool.
Your learner will need an account on Roblox.
One of the biggest concern in regards to Roblox is largely due to the unmoderated nature of the games and the open chat function this is why my class takes place on a private server, with only the other class participants.
Through guidance and supervision during gameplay, respect and kindness will reinforced through our class rules.
The games are curated to include only age appropriate games.
Gamer Tags or usernames will be required for this, please be sure to only share usernames and gamer tags through a private message.
Parents are welcomed to reach out with any additional doubts or questions about the weekly game.

Hello! Thank you for your interest in my classes. Here's a little about me.
I have been a language teacher for over twelve years. My native languages are Spanish and English. I have completed many courses in language instruction and curriculum development but I have gained the most knowledge from the many years of teaching.
I first began my language teaching journey teaching the kids in my care Spanish, later I moved to Mexico and began teaching English in the classroom but my passion for teaching language really ignited when I began my own summer language camps for kids.
In the past couple of years I have learned ways to translate my methods of teaching to the online platform.
I have developed my own style and method of teaching using a natural and interest based approach. Experience has taught me that children learn best when their interest is sparked. I am always learning new ways to improve my student’s experience with learning a new language,
I know learning languages can open up many opportunities to explore new worlds and meet new people. I hope to soon spark a love for learning a new language in your children.Reseñas
