This exciting summer camp will spend 5 days exploring unusual animals. Each 50-minute class will begin with a short bonding time wherein students will share something with the group that is important to them.  Next, the class will be presented four animal images, three of which will be real and one will be fiction.  The class will work together to determine the animal that is not real and convince me, the teacher, why their opinion is the best answer.  The final 45 minutes or so of each class will be a deep dive into the remaining three animals. Each class will include a high ratio of student participation, a slide presentation and a sound effect of the animal when appropriate. The final class will only present three animals to provide enough time for the culminating activity: each student will present their own animal creation to the class.
