🌟 Your destiny as a Python coder awaits! 🌟

We will use Google Colab as a platform to practice and build our code in Python

Class 1:
We will review concepts of Data Types, Variables, Input, Output, Operators etc . At the end of every class student will get an independent project/ question that they need to work on.

Class 2:
Conditional Statements and a project based on this concept.
Conditional statements are fundamental for controlling program logic, and they allow you to make decisions and execute different code paths based on various conditions.

Class 3:
Loops - While loop and project based on while loop & previously learnt concepts
Loops in coding are structures that allow you to repeatedly execute a block of code as long as a certain condition is met or for a specific number of iterations.

Class 4:
Loops- for Loop and a project based on using For loop & previously learnt concepts.

Class 5:
Use of some built in functions, classes and important libraries like: Example -String class and functions, math and random library etc.
Python provides a wide range of built-in functions that perform various operations and tasks. These functions are readily available and do not require you to define them yourself.

Class 6:
User Defined Functions - How to organize and structure your code using user defined functions.

User-defined functions in Python allow you to create your own functions to perform specific tasks. You can define functions to encapsulate a set of statements into a single reusable unit.

Class 7:
Project based on previously learnt concepts

Class 8:
Data Structures- List Data Structure
In Python, a list is a versatile and widely used data structure that allows you to store a collection of items, such as numbers, strings, or even other lists

Class 9:
Project based on List Data Structure

Class 10:
Data Structure- Dictionary
In Python, a dictionary is a data structure that stores a collection of key-value pairs. Each key in a dictionary is associated with a specific value, making it easy to access and manipulate data based on those keys.

Class 11:
Project based on Dictionary

Class 12:
Review of Data Frames
In Python, data frames are most commonly associated with the pandas library, which is a powerful and widely used library for data manipulation and analysis. Pandas provides the DataFrame data structure, which is designed to work with tabular data, similar to a spreadsheet or a SQL table

Class 13:
Project Based on Data Frames

Class 14:
Another project based on previously learnt concepts

Class 15:
File handling
File handling in Python allows you to perform operations on files, such as reading from them, writing to them, and manipulating their contents. Python provides built-in functions and modules for file handling.
Files will be text files created on Notepad

Class 16:
File Handling- Practice exercises

Class 17:
Project based on File Handling

Class 18:
Review of Classes and Objects
In Python, classes and objects are fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming (OOP). Classes serve as blueprints for creating objects, and objects are instances of these classes. Here's an overview of classes and objects in Python:

Class 19:
More Review of Classes and Objects

Class 20:
Project based on Classes and Objects

Class 21 & 22:
Project based on previously learnt concepts

Perfil
Experiencia y certificaciones del docente
Hi to everybody!
My name is Geetu Sodhi, and I hold a data analysis certification in addition to my computer science major. I will impart computer science-related knowledge here. I have first-hand knowledge in tutoring various computer science subjects .
I consider teachers to be perpetual learners who are always expanding and changing. As I am aware that every student learns in a unique way, it is my job as a teacher to accurately analyse each student's interests, skills, and prior knowledge. The next step is for me to design instructional activities that will push each student intellectually and allow them to develop. Some of the subjects that I would be teaching on outschool are : Advance Excel, Python Programming, Gsuite and SQL.
