Grado de EE. UU. Preschool - Kindergarten
This course will be broken into two parts. Part one, students will explore the parts of a pumpkin. This will be hands on and messy. We will use our hands to pull out pumpkin seeds, squish pulp, and feel different parts of the pumpkin. As we do this, we will be learning about the terminology for the different parts of the pumpkin (pulp, shell, stem, seeds) and learning about the pumpkin life cycle. When we are finished exploring we will conduct a science experiment by turning our pumpkin into a volcano! We will learn about the scientific method and follow along to create our own experiment. (A pumpkin that has already been carved can be used for this experiment!) We will see what happens when we mix baking soda and vinegar inside our pumpkin. This class will be interactive, messy, and fun! The teacher will also give some ideas for other fun ways to use your pumpkin and the parts after class! **NOTE: This class is available September and October!**

Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.
I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.
I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.
In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!
I offer science, art, language arts, social studies, math, and social classes for preschool and kindergarten age groups, as well as social groups for neurodivergent! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
