Nivel Beginner - Intermediate
Growing up can be exciting and overwhelming all at once! This is the perfect time to start learning the skills and vocabulary to land the job of their dreams. In this course, students will discuss and practice their interviewing skills. Session 1: Professional Presence (In Person) Students will learn the basics of interviewing and professional communications. We will also cover interview etiquette and attire. Session 2: Interview Intensive Students will practice with mock interviews, playing both as the candidate for hire and the manager. Our classroom is a collaborative community that is a safe space for sharing doubts and excitement related to preparing for adulthood. Students are expected to be respectful to others as they learn together, but also be ready to have fun, crack jokes, and support each other. Students are welcomed to share their personal experiences in class for additional guidance or to help others. The primary goal of my classes is that students leave more confident and prepared to define their future. No previous courses or experience required.
