Do you want to learn how to draw digital fashion designs?  Do you want to learn about various tips and tricks for Procreate?  Do you want to learn shading and highlighting techniques?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, this camp is for you!  You will love this camp where we draw various digital fashions in our own style.  In this camp, students will view various fashion designs on social media and web browsers.  We will also use croquis (credit to Google), which are premade fashion sketches of a model.  In this class, students can interact with myself and one another as much as they like.  This camp will allow for learners to share their art at the beginning of class and throughout each class.  The first day of class, we will start with introductions and students will have an opportunity to get to know one another before we start with our fashion desings.  Then, Ms. Allison will mirror her screen on Zoom and students have the option to follow along with Ms. Allison's fashion designs or create their own throughout the week.  Students are encouraged to be creative and develop their own original digital paintings.  Students will learn about the following techniques/functions and more throughout this four day class:

-Layers
-Clipping Masks
-Blending Modes
-Blending techniques
-Use of images from web browsers as textures
-Various Brushes
-Magic wand tool

A possible schedule, which is subject to change based on the pace of the students, is outlined below:

Day 1: Introductions, look at fashion designs, learn how to use the croquis and create designs based around a possible theme of trendy or personal preference or vote
Day 2: Look at fashion designs and create designs based around a possible theme of animals or personal preference or vote
Day 3: Look at fashion designs and create designs based around a possible theme of elegant or personal preference or vote
Day 4: Look at fashion designs and create designs based around a possible theme of florals or personal preference or vote

Ideally, it is STRONGLY recommended that students have a basic understanding of Procreate for the iPad prior to enrolling in this class, which entails knowing where functions are located and experimenting with the program, understanding layers, and accessing the Outschool classroom.  Please consider taking Ms. Allison's ongoing classes or beginner Procreate classes prior to enrolling in this camp.  Although, all students are welcome to participate in the camp, and Ms. Allison always meets students where they are in their digital art journey.  I am a very laid back, passionate, patient, friendly, and encouraging teacher who cannot wait to meet you!
