Clases de canto privadas o en grupos reducidos para los más pequeños (de 2 a 4 alumnos)

This small group/semi-private class of 2-4 learners is full of fun and inspiration for very young singers!

We will begin each class by warming up our singing voices together using “balloon breaths”, silly tongue twisters, sirens, scales and more! After the warm up, we will sing either a short song or a section of a song (about 4 to 6 lines), so that it is manageable for young learners to repeat and sing along to within the lesson time.  I will first either play a sing-along video or demonstrate the song accompanied by live ukulele or piano. Afterwards, we will sing through it together line by line, as I teach the lyrics and melody. Songs will vary in style and may include nursery rhymes, Disney music, kid-friendly pop songs, songs from musicals and American classics. (Please see song schedule below) There will be plenty of opportunities for learners to sing solo throughout each class!

Positivity and encouragement are a key part of my teaching style. I have 20 years of experience teaching voice to singers of all ages. I know how important it is for students to feel supported at this early stage. I am looking forward to meeting your learner and helping them take their first steps on their own singing journey!

Please note that we will mute a couple of times throughout class to help learners hear themselves and demonstrations clearly. It will be helpful if learners are familiar with the mute/unmute features of zoom or that they have a grown up nearby to help.
