During this private tutoring session, we will focus on the student’s current writing abilities or project. Time will be directed by student needs and can include any part of the writing process, including brainstorming/topic selection, thesis statements, outlines, rough drafts, writing introductions / conclusions, paragraph writing, transition sentences, in-text citations, works cited pages, or more.  Tutoring is available one-time or over multiple sessions.

If your learner does not have a current writing project, but needs to improve in this area, I'm happy to direct our time to develop their writing skills.  Time can be spent focusing on paragraph writing or essay writing.  We will begin where the learner is at and develop skills from there.  

Time will be spent with a combination of direct instruction, looking at examples, and practically applying what we’ve discussed to your learner’s work.  These sessions can be helpful for students who are struggling with paragraphs, working on five paragraph essays, those writing ten page papers, and everyone in between.
