Hello everyone! I LOVE teaching! In fact, ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. In 2012, I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke with a degree in elementary education. I have been a kindergarten teacher in the public school system for 9 years. I have also had the opportunity to work for Vipkid where I taught English online to Chinese children (ages 4-12). I am the mother of a 7 year old boy and a 4 year old girl. We love to spend time outside at the park and occasional trips to the beach. English Language Arts is my favorite subject. I love to teach phonics skills that are a key component to reading. As an elementary educator, I can help children learn social fundamental skills to build relationships and be prepared for classroom success. I am firm believer that learning should be fun and engaging. I love to have a good time and hope to see your child in my classroom!
